About Us:
We are currently seeking multiple Offshore Crane Technicians to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client operates in the offshore, ports and shipping, and oil and gas industry. The positions are based in the UK, and you will work from home on a flying-squad basis, providing maintenance and support globally. As the company expands after securing new contracts, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
● Commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment onshore and offshore.
● Repairs and inspection of a range of electrical equipment and systems.
● Troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
● Commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of a range of client mechanical equipment, onshore and offshore.
● Assist with spares identification and procurement.
● Produce clear factual documented reports.
● Rigging and lift planning.
● Compliance with site HSEQ requirements.
● Working safely with all site staff to ensure a safe working environment.
● Minimize environmental risks during tasks and utilize available controls offshore.
Skills and Experience:
● Experience within the offshore/marine crane industry.
● Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
● Ability to work independently or within a team.
● Comfortable working at heights.
● In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance on offshore cranes.
● BOSIET certification.
● IT literate and capable of writing reports.
● UK driving license.
● Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
● Leadership/supervisory experience.
● Experience working with marine engineering applications.
Other Positions:
This position may also be relevant to candidates with experience as a Field Service Engineer, Crane Engineer, Flying Squad Technician, Hydraulic Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Technician, Electrical Engineer, Multiskilled Technician, or Multiskilled Service Engineer.
